We will have FUN. I easily get excited and hyped about shooting and spending time together! I make lots of jokes and laugh a lot, then I make you guys laugh together and at each other! You can dance around and be as playful as you want. When do we ever get that opportunity?! We are free to have fun.

ARE YOU WILLING TO TRAVEL?
Absolutely! There are so many love stories around the world and I would love to see and celebrate it all, but currently, my services are strictly open to Oregon, Washington and Southern California. Ask me about my standard Travel Packages!
For any out-of-Portland shoot locations like the coast or mountains, my contract always covers 50 miles of travel locally, with just 58 cents per mile over 50 mi. to cover cost of wear, tear, gas and time!
WHAT DOES YOUR APPROACH/PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
First, we come in contact with each other online — in this interaction I love hearing people’s stories and more about couple’s dynamic; how they started, dated, proposed tells a lot about them! Learning as much as possible about both of you individually helps me to know what kind of story I’ll document, as well as learn your priorities for your wedding day. Often, I will meet up with couples in person to chat details, pricing, and questions over coffee!
If we are a match and your date is available for me, I will then send out a contract for us to look over together. With a first-come-first-serve basis, in order to set in stone your wedding date I will need the signed contract and a deposit, with a flexible payment plan created just for you. Once these steps are complete, you have locked me in as your wedding photographer and gained another person who will help you cheer you through the planning process!
WHAT KIND OF COUPLES DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITH THE MOST?
I will give an example of one of my favorite couples I’ve gotten to work with this far: They were madly in love, gentle and sweet to each other and everyone around them, but also goofy and dorky and adventurous — they knew that this is what was unique to their relationship and they weren’t afraid of showing that! They were excited for their wedding day, but knew that their love and marriage was more important than the wedding day. Both of them were also excited and understanding of the creative process for making beautiful photos. They were as excited and grateful as I was to them; even more, their active priority to support wedding vendors of color reflected their intention and care for the world around them.
How many photos do you deliver?
Different photography packages include different amounts of images given in a gallery! There is never a strict quantity of images — I’ll never have a maximum amount, but I do have a general minimum. Instead, I intentionally curate and select as many images as I feel tells the story.
For portrait sessions, I guarantee a minimum of 35 images, but it usually ends up being 80.
For weddings, a short 5-hour wedding day will bring about 400 images minimum, while a full-wedding day will be 700-800.
